A piligrim would fill his heart with holiness and witness the divinity in Goddess Maa Sharda and at the temples in and around.
A music enthusiast can be enthralled by the famous “Maihar Band’s” original compositions, the true descendants of the Baba Alaudin Khan & H.H. Maharaja Brijnath Singh Ju Deo’s Maihar Gharana.

Maihar has been lately declared as a religious place where the famous Sharda Devi temple exist which is one of the Skakti Peeths in India. The temple is situated on a hillock and a rope way makes it easy for the pilgrims to visit. According to the hindu calendar on both the Navratras there is a fifteen days fare, where more than five lakh devotees visit annually for darshan.
